Hi guys, I just thought I would introduce myself. I am Rebecca, the new co-owner of Emily Browning Online. I am hoping to help Holly in keeping this site going as I’m sure no one would like to see it being put up for adoption, as Holly has done such a great job so far. Hopefully I can keep up her good work and we will be posting updates soon. Thank you all for your continued support.

We have a new layout up here at the site, all errors are fixed I believe as well. I also have an announcement. At this point in my life, I have some pressing personal matters that I need to take care of and the updates on this site have been slacking. I’m searching for a co-owner for the site but if I don’t find one soon, I may have to give the site up for adoption at fan-sites.org. I don’t want to do this but I can not do run this site alone right now. If you’re interested and can follow some rules that are established by my host, then please email me with the subject of Emily Browning Staff and I’ll get back to you immediately. Some knowledge of wordpress and coppermine is preferred but I can give a quick run down if need be.

We have a temporary theme up here currently, we’ll have a new layout soon. Something happened and we unfortunately lost a few things including the wordpress theme but we’ll recover shortly!

Updates are coming. Sorry, I took a personal hiatus and am just coming back. Be patient!

You guys, I felt the need to make a post about it, in a last desperate try to make people understand.

People keep sending us comments here and replies on Twitter talking like we were Emily. Once for all, we are NOT Emily and we have NO contact with her AT ALL either, not even through the internet or whatever.
Really, just for your information, we’re not even sure if she has social networks’ accounts, which, by the way, is something people ask a lot about. Even if she does, I’m pretty sure it’s all disguised, blocked and she doesn’t add unknown people, Emily is done with stalkers. So I don’t think it’s worth it to keep looking for and I don’t believe in any open profiles around claiming to be her, cause I don’t think she would do that..to me they’re all fake. But it’s just my opinion, we never know. Anyways, about this subject, let’s just leave her alone, she deserves some privacy. So please, if you get to find real accounts (if there’s any)/personal stuff of hers, don’t annoy her and don’t spread it everywhere. Emily’s already made it pretty clear how it makes her upset, and things like that will only make her dislike her fans.

We also don’t even have any contact with her friends, family, businessman, or whoever else. This site does NOT belong to her and we’re not even sure if she knows much about it. It’s from fans to fans, ONLY.

So please, don’t waste your time writing tons of stuff for us, cause I don’t really even think Emily visits this website (or any other about her), SO she’s not gonna see your comments. Sad but true, sorry if I’m breaking somebody’s dreams here. lol But we gotta keep it real, right?!

I don’t mean to be rude or offend anyone with this, it’s just I wanted to make things clear once for all, though we’ve always let it pretty clear in our sites’ information. So, I hope now people can stop wasting their time sending things thinking we are Emily, it’s annoying.

Now, back to the regular program. =)

First off, we have a gorgeous new layout here to celebrate the upcoming release of Sucker Punch and it was done by my amazing friend Jess. Also, if you have twitter you can now follow the site on there to receive updates, just make sure to follow us @emilybonline. I’ve also redone all the pages and converted them to wordpress, but there may be a few errors here and there, so if there are, just send me a email and let me know, I’ll work on fixing them as soon as possible.
